Pumpkin contains enzymes that naturally brighten and exfoliate. That’s why I love making this easy pumpkin face mask. 🎃
It contains soothing and calming oats, and honey is a natural humectant. This powerhouse list of fall ingredients provides the nourishment your skin needs for cooler drier days ahead.
Here’s what you’ll need:
✔️2 tablespoons rolled oats
✔️1 tablespoon cooked pumpkin (make your own or use canned)
✔️1 teaspoon plain kefir or raw whole milk
Soak the oats for 5 minutes, allowing the oats to gel a bit, which increases its soothing benefits.
Place the oats, honey, pumpkin, and kefir in a food processor and blend.
Apply about 1 tablespoon of the mask to a clean dry face.
Leave on for 5 to 10 minutes, and then rinse off with warm water. Store in a closed container in the refrigerator, and use within three days.
