Ive rounded up my best industry tips and tricks, for exceptional skincare in 2023.
TIP 1: EXFOLIATE DRY, ROUGH SKIN PRIOR TO FAKE TAN APPLICATION We all know the importance of exfoliating dry and flaky skin prior to applying fake tan I love our Chocolate sun) . If you skip this step you risk the tan gathering in those dry areas meaning the finish will be uneven and look ‘dirty’. This occurs in elbows, wrists, knees, and ankles - and between fingers, thumbs and toes. Apply our Gentle Renewal Scrub to these areas, wash it off then apply your fake tan using a mitt. Another great tip for a scrub is applying it to your lips to exfoliate dead skin cells, giving you an even application of lipstick. Very gently of course
TIP 2: APPLY ILLUMINATING MASK 5 MINS BEFORE YOUR MAKE-UP Give your skin an instant glow prior to applying your make-up. Apply our illuminating face mask to clean and damp skin, leave on for 5 minutes, rinse with warm water then follow with the rest of your skincare routine. Containing Glycolic Acid and Kaolin Clay which work to remove dead skin cells and unclog pores, leaving your skin bright, dewy and even. It’s a much-loved product so often difficult to get your hands on - watch this space for a back-in-stock message.
TIP 3: APPLY NOURISHING CREAM UNDER FOUNDATION For the perfect under-your-make-up moisturizer, Look for something with Aloe Vera or Hyaluronic acid, this helps locks in moisture and soothes irritated skin!
TIP 4: REFRESHING TONER AS AN ON-THE-GO HYDRATING MIST A great tip for giving your skin an extra hydration boost on the go - put some of our Refreshing Toners into an empty spray bottle and spritz your skin throughout the day. Toners have a bad rep of stripping the skin of moisture, but our toners provides an instant hydration effect. A little moisture boost whenever the skin feels a little tight, it’s your on-the-go ‘hydration-hero’.
